“Under” Covered – The Coverage Gap, Efforts & Opportunities to Close It

Even modest income workers are 12-15 times more likely to save for retirement when they have a plan at work than on their own.  But a surprising number of full-time workers lack that option – and in recent years, there has been a variety of initiatives, both at the state and federal level to do something about it.  We’ll look at the current status of these programs, their efficacy in actually closing the coverage gap – and the emerging implications and opportunities for private sector retirement plan professionals.
